Temora Aviation Museum

temora-aviation-museumIn 2002, Temora Aviation Museum became a lead in customer for Perkins Technologies data acquisition system, DAAM. We were looking for a data logging system for our collection of historically significant vintage military aircraft, like our two World War II Supermarine Spitfires. As our aircraft are not flown regularly and are flown by different pilots it was difficult to monitor changes to engine temperatures and pressures. The DAAM system has allowed us to trend monitor our magnificent Rolls Royce Merlin engines and we were able to modify our aerobatic routines to remove a potentially damaging low oil pressure situation during a negative ‘G’ manoeuvre which was not visible with the aircraft instruments.

The Perkins Technologies crew were thoroughly professional during the installation process and the ongoing support is fantastic. I am happy to personally recommend the DAAM system to any potential customers.
